This Privacy Policy explains how Hangzhou Zhongxuda Network Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use the BuyBallot app and related websites (together, the "Service").

1. Data we collect

• Account identifiers: the identifier provided by Sign in with Apple or Google, and your email address.
• Profile: your nickname and avatar image.
• User content: the items you post for approval, prices, reasons, and any images you upload.
• Votes and reasons: your Approve or Reject votes and the reasons you write, and group membership.
• Device push token: a token issued by Apple or Google so we can send you notifications.
• Crash and usage data: basic diagnostic information such as crash reports and how the app is used, so we can fix problems.

2. How we use data

We use your data to provide the Service: to sign you in, show your groups and votes, send notifications you have requested, keep the Service safe, handle reports and blocks, fix bugs, and respond to support requests.

3. Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your personal data for third-party advertising. We share data only as described in this policy: with other members of a group you post to (the content you choose to share), with service providers that process data for us (see section 6), and where required by law.

4. Storage and retention

Your data is stored on servers operated by our hosting provider. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to comply with legal obligations.

5. Deleting your data

You can delete your account in the app: go to Settings → Delete account. If you cannot open the app, follow the steps on our account deletion page, or email [email protected].

6. Service providers

We rely on the following third parties to operate the Service:

• Apple for Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, and push notifications on iOS.
• Google for Sign in with Google, Google Play distribution, and push notifications on Android.
• Our hosting provider for server infrastructure, storage, and related services.

7. Children

BuyBallot is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights over your personal data:

• EEA and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR): access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
• California (CCPA / CPRA): to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
• Japan (APPI): to request disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your personal information.
• South Korea (PIPA): to request access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing of your personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will show the new effective date at the top of this page, and where changes are material we will tell you in the app.
