Common questions

How do I join a group?

Open a group invite link, or open BuyBallot, go to Groups, and choose Join with code. Enter the 6-character code your friend shared.

How do I start a vote?

Create a new approval request with the item, its price and your reason. Choose whether you decide alone or start a group vote, and set the vote to close after a time limit or a number of votes.

How do I report content or a user?

Use the report option on the content or the user's profile in the app. We review reports within 24 hours and act on content that breaks our rules, including removing it and suspending or banning the account that posted it.

How do I block a user?

Block the user from their profile or from the content in the app. Blocked users cannot interact with you.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought them from. Cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings (App Store), or in Google Play subscription settings (Google Play). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete account. If you cannot open the app, read the account deletion page.
